HYMN

Hymn is a film where time and space are dictated by the continuous and repetitive movements and gestures of different women. The work retrieves one’s various relationships with a female other, from the first interaction with a mother to the conflict and complicity of a lover. Simple and constant gestures map memories, dynamics, exposing the vulnerability of the female body and imposing its presence in a patriarchal society.
